DRAFT Manufacturer Portal Direct Payment Process (DPP) Users Guide

CMS is posting a DRAFT Manufacturer Portal Direct Payment Process (DPP) Users Guide describing the payment functionality of the DPP. CMS is posting this draft guide for Manufacturers and Medicare Part D Sponsors to prepare for the release of the new CGDP Direct Payment Process, as announced in the HPMS memo titled “New Medicare Part D Coverage Gap Discount Program Direct Payment Process”, dated January 15, 2015.   The draft guide is posted on the TPA website under the New Direct Payment Process Information section. CMS plans to post a DRAFT Sponsor Portal Direct Payment Process (DPP) Users Guide soon. In the interim, Medicare Part D Sponsors may refer to the DRAFT Manufacturer Portal Direct Payment Process (DPP) Users Guide to prepare for the new DPP as the payment functionality is similar for Sponsors.
